  What is a Munch

  Hi Guys!

  Since the Bunny Chatroom (Which is awesome by the way) a topic on munches came up so I believe we all need an explanation about it.
  Here is a wikipedia explanation : A munch (derived from “burger munch”) is a casual social gathering for people involved in or interested in BDSM. Munches often take place at a restaurant, bar, or coffee shop; the organizer usually reserving a large table, a back area, or a private room. People are free to arrive and leave within the specified hours. The primary purpose is socializing, although some munches also have announcements or demonstrations from local organizations or individuals. Munches are meant to help those who are curious about BDSM meet others, become more comfortable, and better informed. Munches can also be a place to get advice, or pass on anecdotes about BDSM experiences.

  So here in the sunny island somewhere in Asia (Not in China!), I got to the Under 35 group munch. It’s a group for the youngster to meet up and make friends with like minded people. We chat about everyday things. We share news about toys, which ones are best for playing with oneself or with each other (Hee hee). We talk and ask about fetishes and share information about it. The most important function for this group is to serve as a platform, especially for the new people to safely be able to ask and talk and discuss among each other.We also exchange information about the bad people in the kinky community and who to avoid. We meet once a month for dinner to talk. mingle and have fun. Lots of bad jokes abound.

  I also go to another munch which is the main one and it’s called the SGDomSubs munch. It’s also held once a month. This group is a bit more for the older people. It’s also where the creepy people hang out. So it’s a little bit more unsafe to go there alone. best to go with friends to look out for each other. The munch is held at a bar where people can drink and mingle. Sometimes some of the people there do a rope demonstration for those wanting to know how it is done. Also since it can be done with clothes on we don’t get in trouble for having a rope bondage demonstration. Since we get the whole place to ourselves we can be as loud as we like and talk as much as we like.
