Using the Billing/Creighton/Symptothermal methods and internal toys
Hi everyone!
Is anyone using the Billings/Creighton/Symptothermal methods at the moment or have experience using them in the past? I’d love to hear from you!
I am wondering how using internal toys (like eggs or ben wa balls) that are left in for a while has affected your cervical mucus observations. Is there a technique on taking the cervical mucus readings when I remove the toy (like there is when I remove a tampon)? Do you consider the substance on the internal toy as cervical mucus or just dismiss it as arousal fluid?
I honestly find the idea of leaving an internal toy in in public pretty hot but I don’t want to mess with my Creghton method charting. So I’m trying to find out whether I can still make cervical mucus observations even if I leave the toy in for more than an hour.
P.S. I should really be asking my FertilityCare Practitioner (instructor in the Creighton model) about this but I’m a bit nervous about what her reaction would be as she is Catholic (and so am I and she knows it). I don’t know her views on the use of sex toys.

I have no experience with this method, however I do have Lelo luna beeds ( a type of ben wa balls) that I absolutely love, I have often worn them while out and about it’s awesome to have this little secret, while keeping this grin on my face that only sir understands, and since they have health benefits, as kegel exercise is often recommended by doctors, for pelvic floor fitness I think it would be an appropriate subject for your fertility care practitioner. I am also catholic and don’t really understand how this would be an issue since you are not using these toys to avoid pregnancy…
