Subbie sisters my advice to you is do the damn homework! Journal, kneel (what do you feel?), schedule downtime, chat with other subs, focus on the foundations. It is worth all of the time and effort to see such a change in your dynamic years down the road. Be paitent and kind with your Sir (and yourself!) And never give up on TTWD.

DarlingShay, I absolutely LOVE this!!! You are so right when you say, “do the damn homework!” Oftentimes when I am chatting with subbies who are struggling I find that some are not doing the things they need to be doing. As you stated this includes keeping a journal to organize and share thoughts/desires, kneeling, practicing downtime (the proper way), participating in chat on a regular basis, and most importantly building a solid foundation on honesty, communication, trust, respect, intimacy, and love. I am guilty of this from time to time and have to remind myself that I can’t expect my Sir to completely lead our D|s-M. We are a team and a continuous circle that must feed each other.
