So we want to create a space specifically designed for when things get a little loud. We have a walk-in closet off our bedroom, which is pretty much soundproof from where the kids sleep. I’d like to put a piece of furniture for kneeling, spanking, and anything else my Sir wishes to do. Space is somewhat limited. What would be the most ideal–a lounge chair or an ottoman? With an ottoman, I can kneel on it backwards to make my ass available, or forwards for my mouth. The lounge chair would be great for spankings and various sexual positions. I was thinking Sir could instruct me to have one or the other in there and be ready as he wishes when he gets home depending on his mood, but the lounge chair is much too large to regularly switch between the living room and closet. Thoughts?

    Hi Loren,

If either you or your Sir are a bit handy, there is a whole heap of bondage furniture that can be built reasonably easily and which can provide you both with a whole heap of possibilities. Something like a wooden poney is excellent from a bondage, oral, anal, vaginal sex and impact play point of view. If you search for BDSM furniture plans you’ll be able to find a whole range of things in this area, ranging from very simple to complex.

Obviously, this requires some effort to build, but the results are definitely worth it and the cost when DIY-ing BDSM furniture is actually quite cheap – especially when one looks at what getting it made commercially costs.

    Just another suggestion 🙂

I think a ottoman would be more versatile. OH and maybe if you have very large eyebolts put in the studs of the walls, you can use for rope or chain tie-up/bondage.

Hi Loren, we love the long low to the ground bench we have. It’s leather, easy cleaning. Bonus is the lid opens so we have storage. The legs are wood have been good for rope. BD

Hi Loren – We have a night stand that has a lid that lifts off for storage… I keep a lamp on it so curious kids won’t want to lift the lid to see the stash of toys inside! I would suggest a leather ottoman with a lid and a blanket or floor cushion for kneeling. Sir is also partial to a wooden chair (something easy to move and to which I can easily be tied).
