Hi, Lilangel. I’m not sure I understand your question. Are you asking what names or titles people use in scenes..or do you mean names that are used out in public…sort of “secret” pet names that the 2 of you recognize as your D/s M names? I’ll answer both, and if that wasn’t what you meant…feel free to follow up. 🙂 My Sir casually calls me “Doll” out in public. If he uses my real name, Jennifer, in vanilla company, it means I have lost sight of my focus on who I am and I had better reign it in and return to his side immediately to check in with him. Kind of as a joke, we call each ofther Schmoopie and Schmoopetta…a throw back to a joke that started with a Seinfeld episode when we were dating..and it sort of stuck. LOL That is playful, though…not when either of us are being serious.

In scenes, DownTimes, and when we are alone, he calls me “Little One” This is my FAVORITE way he refers to me. It melts me every time he says it. I always call him “Sir” “My Sir” or “Master” when we are alone or when I text him, depending on the level of protocol or how submissive I am feeling. In front of others, I call him “Babe”, which is sort of an agreed upon representation of “Sir” for in front of our vanilla friends, though lately I am calling his “Sir” in front of people most of the time, anyway….I just make it a little quieter.

I hope that answered your question. I don’t think Sir and I are very imaginative. Maybe others will have some ideas for you.

    Hello there!
We don’t use pet names in our dynamic, rather I have a submissive name and Sir has a Dom name.

Veruca is the submissive name my Sir gave me a while after we started TTWD and it is what he always calls me now. Most of the time, he shortens it to V, but sometimes (when I am being corrected or during a scene) he will use Veruca.
As far as what I call him? I simply call him Sir except when I am talking about him on a chat, I will use the name he chose for husDom (Mr. Cain).

    Sincerely,
    Veruca

  • Both of those responses are helpful, thank you!! Seeing as we are new to this whole dynamic (and he’s still a bit timid) we were thinking that we could keep a “bedroom” dynamic with pet names and keep a more “unassuming” name for everyday life around friends and such. I have been tasked to do a lot of the research for all of this because he’s so busy with work that he doesn’t get a lot of downtime during the day. Thank you both!
