New Day Collar
My Sir bought me a day collar 2 years ago and I love it. I’ve worn it every day since the day he put it around my neck. Lately though, I have been wanting a new day collar…maybe one that was a little nicer for the times that we get all dressed up to go out. I hadn’t really told him that was on my mind…just was kind of hoping to find something I liked and show him (hint, hint).
Unbeknownst to me, my Sir had already been on the hunt.Yesterday was our 15th (wedding) anniversary. Sir handed me a little red box with a bow on it. Inside, I found a beautiful necklace with a large black pearl in the center. I loved it, but I was surprised about the pearl…Sir isn’t a “pearls” kinda man. He sat me down and as he put it on me, he explained that this is a new day collar. He had looked up birth stones and found that June’s was a pearl. At first, I was thinking, “June? My Birthday isn’t in June.” I stayed quiet though…not wanting to interrupt his story…yet. He continued to explain how long he had been looking, never finding anything with pearls that he liked and was almost feeling defeated. He went out, one last time, last weekend on the hunt again. He walked into a store and there it was…exactly what he was looking for; my black pearl.
As he finished, he knew I was DYING to ask about the June birthstone, because again…I wasn’t born in June! lol
He looked at me and told me that because we started D|s-M in June, 3 years ago, the pearl represents the BIRTH of our D|s-M.
I am so lucky to have a Sir that puts so much thought in what he does for me! - 10 Replies

I absolutely love the your new collar but love the time and effort your Sir put into it so much more. This was very thoughtful and could not have been more perfect. He always sets the bar very high for the other husDoms! Happy anniversary! May this year the best year yet!
