Every year we read a Christmas Carol and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. We have a bunch of Christmas Classic kids shows on DVD – Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Clause is Comin’ to Town – that we will be watching. I used to cut out snowflakes as a kid and I think I want to do that this year to decorate, and color Christmas/winter pictures. It’s just the two of us so we try to keep things simple. Spending time together is the most important thing.

This isn’t getting ready necessarily but Sir gave me an early Christmas Gift…wrapped and on my dresser last night with a tag that said “from your favorite Elf” Made me giggle because really I’m normally the Elf in our house. So He let me open it after dinner (me thinking it was a private adult present lol) BUT it was the new MINION MOVIE!!!! I was soooooooo excited! I love Minions! And Smurfs! And Ewoks! Really anything Mini! Probably because I’m short! Don’t even get me started on how excited I get in the miniature aisle at Target!!! My absolute favorite is stuffing everyone’s stockings at our house! Our “boys” are 19 and 21, and I still can’t wait to get them the best mini things for their stockings!
