    That’s right….you heard me…I am quitting.

Sir and I are both smokers and have been for many years. We had a conversation today that led us to the conclusion that we both need to quit. So this pack I have here….is my last. I am posting this here, in submrs, for accountability and also for some possible future subport! I am a monster when I quit (I have quit 3 previous times) and just know that I will have times when I will struggle to stay clear headed and in a good submissive mindset. This will be a great challenge for Sir and I, especially with our new dynamic. One thing that I know will help is that since introducing D/s into our marriage, we are gaining better communication skills and I think that will be a positive in this.

    So there it is…I quit!

Smoking is a tough habit to break. I never have smoked but have family members and friends that have been soo addicted.. Congrats and respect to you and your Sir! LK

Good luck Rachelle! I was a smoker and quit about 2 years ago. It is one of the hardest things I’ve done I think!!! I used the e-cigs/”vaping” to quit took it from like 24 ml of nicotine to 0! woo hoo! But then I kinda got addicted to the ecigs or they became a new habit so I’m not necessarily promoting them…just made me less grumpy taking my nicotine away slowly. But then to give up my ecigs, Sir held me accountable when I announced I was giving those up too…more of a reward system than anything haha. I implemented the old it takes 21 days to change a habit & now I am a smoke free/nicotine free sugar free gum chewer lol Anyway my point is it’s hard but you can do it! Good Luck to you and your Sir!

Thank you all for the subport! It really does help! Sir and I have decided to do a scheduled weaning process…after trying that on Sunday, we realized that cold turkey just isn’t going to work, lol! When I wrote this I only had a couple left, and I about lost my mind the rest of the day :(… So yesterday I think I only had about 7 cigarettes and so today I am only allowed 6. That is a huge improvement from a pack to a pack and a half a day!

BTW: @Beth lovin the pompoms girlfriend!

Ah… A good smoke. I’ve been working on quitting as well. If I want a cigarette I have to ask permission. I am allowed one per day and once in a blue moon I can have two. They are a privilege that can and has been revoked. I lost that privilege for four days in July. It’s to the pint where I barely have any these days. I will probably quit for good soon.

    Good luck all you quitters!

This challenge will be a breeze for you. You have enough dynamite commitment to accomplish anything. Be kind to yourself celebrate the small victories, forgive the slips. As the cravings come remind yourself you deserve this victory. You are subpost to be a slave to your Sir only. Proud of you my friend. Expect me to give you grief in true Ogre style.

    Feeling really bitchy today….
The weaning meathod wasn’t working so great, so I went cold turkey today. I really want a damn cigarette and I know Sir has some. Man, this just sucks…

Sir and I both quit almost 18 months ago. It is tough, but if you do it together you have your support system built in!!!! No one thought Sir would ever quit (me included). He smoked 2 packs a day forever……but he did it, I did it and we didn’t kill anyone along the way!!! Good luck and you can always bitch it out here…..

Curvy, this is great advice. I think this would make a good thread/separate topic.
