What is a Scene and how does one work
Can anyone please describe what a scene is and how does one work?/ From start to finish… Who sets up the scene?

Well, a scene, it can be different for everyone. But for us, a scene is an encounter that is well thought out, planned. Not that my Sir always sticks to his plan, but for the most part, he knows what he wants to happen and how to achieve it. Think about FSOG, remember when he would send Ana to the red room, she was to prepare herself. Kneel a certain way, wearing a certain thing, her hair, makeup, done to his specifications. He was allowing her to get into sub-mode. Then he would enter the room, and a “scene” would play out. He had some semblance of a plan, what toys he would use, the music he wanted her to hear, blindfolded or not, where the scene would take place; bed, floor, table…etc. But essentially its a time when the sub totally gives her body and mind over to her Dom, hopefully….completely, so she is able to get the most out of what he is offering to her, of what he has planned. He is always in control of where the scene goes, though she always has her safe words if it gets too intense. Hope that helps some?!?

This is a Fantastic post and makes perfect sense – also means MrH and I have had quite a few scenes lol
We are pretty full on with it and have rituals we do morning and night where he exchanges my day jewellery for my night collar and vice Versa as well as more intense sexual play scenes too.
