• Vampire Gloves?

Do any of you ladies have experience with vampire gloves? I’m intrigued by the concept but don’t know much about them. I’d love to hear ideas or experiences. 🙂

While reading through a book my dh found vampire gloves. I gave him a description of what they were, since the book didn’t explain it, and was pretty surprised by his interested reaction (He always surprised me with what he’s interested in! LOL). After googling the image to give him a visual we did a little researching to look at prices and styles.

I got to thinking about it and figured that these gloves shouldn’t be too hard to make, and indeed I found some very helpful instructions after a short search. His birthday is coming up, right around the time of my 6th week postpartum checkup, and he’s planning our first scene since I gave birth. He is very into sensory play so I figured that since these dates (his birthday and my 6 weeks) are kind of coinciding that perhaps I’d try making a pair of these gloves for him to present at dinner as his birthday gift.

Instead of leather I’m thinking I’ll attempt to find velvet or chenille gloves to make the sensory play dual-functioning. This video gave me the idea, and from the reaction of both parties, these look like fun!

I adore satin opera gloves. I had a pair I wore the seams out of lol…did you end up making these? I really like that there are crafty subs around here! Perhaps we should share ideas/patters we find around and about!

No. I bought the rhinestone settings but haven’t been able to figure out how to easily get them to poke through the gloves I purchased. Once I do get them through I haven’t figured out how to make them secure so they don’t come out. I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a chance to really look for better instructions… Hopefully I’ll get them made at some point, but if I don’t I’ll probably purchase a set. 🙂

I never did get the gloves to work so I purchased them with the last toy order. They should be here shortly. 🙂

Do you mind telling what didn’t work for you? I’m interested in DIYing some, but don’t want to duplicate what doesn’t work.

I found a tutorial online and tried to follow it. There weren’t detailed instructions – it was pretty much a list of what one needs. Rhinestone settings and two pairs of gloves. Poke the rhinestone settings through one pair of gloves, from the inside. Fold down one of the four/five tines to secure the setting. Then, to secure the settings in place so they don’t easily fall out, place the second pair of gloves inside the first. It creates a barrier between the settings.

They used leather gloves. I went with something soft and thicker, to replicate Love Bites. I had a hard time poking the settings through those gloves. Once I got them through I couldn’t, for the life of me, fold a tine down. I was ready to hot glue them into place… I would assume it would be easier to do with the leather gloves, I just couldn’t find them. I’m pretty sure the issue lay in the thickness of the gloves I was working with. They weren’t super thick, but apparently they weren’t slim enough either.

    Good luck!

If you haven’t tried these before, but you like the Wartenburg Wheel, I think you’ll love these! The pain/pleasure sensations that these can bring, especially after climaxing is just amazing. Definitely my favorite item in the play box!

Mu MAster just got these on our recentvacation. He loves them. They can leave rather interesting marks, and can be quite painful, lol. Yum! I foresee interesting play sessions ahead!
