As Valentine’s Day approaches, I am thinking back on our D/s journey and how thru the years you have always made me feel special and claimed me as your own. From the first gesture of holding the door for me, to the first buttercup picked from the uncut yard of Shepard of the Sea, to the way we lost our breath after our first kiss…..you have always been my one and only. My true love. I will never forget our promises made to each other on the rocks of Thames River looking out into Long Island Sound. I will cherish our wedding vows whispered thru tears of joy surrounded by family and friends. And I will forever hold dear to my heart our formal acceptance and collar ceremony where we reaffirmed and renewed our commitment to the only lifestyle we have ever known and have found our greatest joy in.
Thank you Sir for being my protector and guardian. I love that you are so strong and can save me from anything. I love you for the romantic that you are and how soft you are with only me. I love that look in your eyes in our most intimate of moments when you are about to lose control. And I love the way you make me laugh everyday. This is the Valentine’s letter I wrote for my Sir. I put a note in his lunch box every day, and this Valentine’s note will be extra special 🙂
On this day of love, I am thinking back on our journey and how our love has grown over our years together. You have always made me feel special and loved, beginning with our early days and the “Do You Like Me” notes in elementary school and the fun we had in high school (“over familiarity”) and college, to our wedding and the arrival of our boys and the home and life we’ve built together. You have always been my one and only and my true love. You are always there for me, and I am so grateful that you chose me to share your life with and that you were willing to walk this second part of our journey with me.
I love you more today than I ever thought possible. I love that you are my best friend; make me giggle and laugh every day, even on those days that I don’t feel like laughing; always do what’s best for our family and are an awesome dad; and look at me with love and lust in your eyes (still, after all these years!).
I am honored to be your wife and will hold your hand and walk with you wherever you lead us on our everlasting love story. -
Kitty, You are an amazing woman! This challenge was so hard for me because I am not a natural writer, G8tr is. I am in awe of you that you write a love note in your Sirs lunch box everyday! That is fantastic! I followed LK outline to the letter….but yours seemed to flow so naturally from your heart. I am so jealous.
