I love this. I’ve always been attracted to the 50’s housewife image. June Cleaver 😊 One of my favorite ways to show my submission is to remove Sir’s shoes and socks when he comes home from work. It satisfies something deep within me. This little article just nailed it. All except him staying out and coming home late. Ha!!!!

I do love the ultra-traditional marriage roles. I probably do about half of these already.

I am not about to “be a little gay” when he comes come. Haha!!!

Staci!!! ROFL!!! I remember my high school biology teacher reading this to the class as a joke. Her husband’s grandmother had recently passed and they found the original article clipped from a magazine in a bunch of her things. I remember the boys snickering and the girls rolling their eyes hard enough to give themselves a cat scan. I chuckled just to fit in, but deep down in wished I was living back in time where it was considered honorable to want to be a good housewife and be pleasing to your husband. I am so fortunate to have found a husband who was willing to support me staying home to raise our kids, and extremely fortunate to now have him as my amazing HusDom! I love that man to the moon and back times infinity! As many subs as there are that identify as “princesses” and “littles”, I honestly think that “50’s Housewife” is every bit as real. Thank you so much LK for creating this space for us retro subbies!

I love this post, those are some of the many things I would love to do for my daddy. Especially create a place of peace and tranquillity for him to come home too.. for him to relax as I listen to him talk about his day. Comfort him..

Thanks for reviving this post! It was really timely. My Sir worked two sides jobs this weekend and he came home late last night complaining his feet were hurting from standing. I grabbed some lotion and massaged his feet before we went to bed. He hates having his feet messed with but he let me do it anyway. He did say they felt better afterwards. I really enjoyed doing this for him. Especially after he worked so hard to earn a little extra money for our upcoming vacation. I felt like this was my way of contributing. 🙂
