Submissive vs Slave
Hi wonderful ladies! I need some advice. After a few months hiatus due to both of us having medical issues, some things came up as we are getting back into it. Please bear with me, and ask questions if something doesn’t make sense/I need to clarify further. Maybe direct me?
Can a sub still be a sub, but with slave tendencies? I take care of Sir all the time anyways (just natural for me). Lately, I’m not sure if I fall in between? What does that even look like if that’s a thing? I’m a submissive at heart for sure, and don’t think I could ever go full slave, even for Sir, but can they cross at times?! I really feel like I have the overarching need to please him in such a manner.

Hi Daisy. Welcome back. The age old question sub vs slave. First I do agree with all the ladies it doesn’t really matter so long as your happy. I think when it comes to labels(sub, slave, pet, toy, little, ect.) they may have basic characteristics to generalize by, it can help to know what we are talking about. But I don’t think they are meant to be the whole. In my opinion people are complex and never just one thing. If you are interested in adding a slave aspect to your D|s-M I would encourage you to talk with your Sir about what that looks like to both of you within your dynamic. When my Sir and I started exploring Master/slave play within our dynamic we talked about what that looked like to us. It was a surprise to me, that when asking my Sir to define what a Master and slave was to him, it differed from my point of view. Those two definitions are where we started. Once we were on the same page we grew from there. Our Master/slave is not the whole of our D|s-M it is just one part of many that compliments it. Ultimately how you and your Sir define these terms within your dynamic is the most important thing. Explore and have fun with it.
