Hello fellow subbies! I am subMarie. I am 45 years old. Sir Ed and I are high school sweethearts and have been married for 21 years. We have 2 daughters that still live at home, 17 and 20 years old. We reside in the San Antonio, Texas area. I work outside the home as a project manager for a large company and my Sir’s profession is in law enforcement. My Sir and I have always had a kinky side and dabbled in BDSM off and on for years. Like many others we hit a rough patch at the end of 2016. I was contemplating leaving my Sir on a quest for a more fulfilling life. There are several contributing factors that led us down our path that I will spare you all from. But ultimately, the root cause is we failed to communicate. We uncovered deep desires we both have. On our way back to healing and exploring how to bring D/s into a marriage, I stumbled across subMrs. My jaw literally hit the floor when I read LK’s story. It was as if I was reading my own autobiography. I saw my life replayed over and over again as I read through profiles and chat conversations. My Sir felt the exact same way as he explored husDom. On 5/20/17 we decided together to give this D/s lifestyle 24/7 a try. We are both 100% committed. As expected our marriage has never been more magical. We have never been so connected and so deep in love. There is absolutely no going back for us. I am so grateful for all of the support I have received from you all. Thanks for sharing your story! I can relate to the part about hitting a rough patch in your marriage because of failure to communicate. We were in a similar situation and are also thankful to have found this site!
