I’m pretty new to the D/s lifestyle too. One of the best things I’ve learnt from LKs site so far, is not too have too many rules, or too complicated rules at first.
Sir has only set 3 rules currently,
1. I must wear only my collar and underwear at home, unless Sir says otherwise.
2. Sir can have his way with me whenever he likes. I do have the option to say no and he will respect that, however; there are consequences, and Sir will punish me.
3. My orgasms belong to Sir. I am only allowed to cum when Sir gives me permission.
Rule number 3 is definitely the hardest to keep to!
Other then that, Sir sometimes sets me tasks to do and also there are certain things he expects from me,that aren’t set rules, like keep myself presentable (no chipped nail varnish, smooth legs and other areas at all times, etc)
That’s pretty much it so far!

I too am new to the D/s lifestyle. We don’t have too many rules yet but I think that’s a good thing.

1. I have a collar on my wrist that I must wear at all times & never take off. In public or not.
2. I am not allowed to pleasure myself unless I ask D first & after I’ve asked, he tells me how he wants me to do it.
3. I am only allowed to wear outfits that D approves of and if not then I have to change.

That’s about it for now. The rules are simple which I like.
Like you LSK I have to stay well groomed and shave everything. He likes it when I’m smooth. I have bad habits like picking at my face and nails and he does not like that at all and it’s very hard for me not to. But I’m trying! I have a feeling there will be repercussions soon if I don’t cut the habits..

I like those rules! I don’t have a collar or anything yet… I guess we’ll work up to that. And as for being naked all day – kind of hard with a toddler in the house! I really like that one though.

We had our best session yet the other night. I was tied to a chair, breasts tied tightly, nipple clamps, slapping my breasts as a punishment, then using the vibrator to make me come like that. I think I experienced a little of what people refer to “subspace” – I was on such a high the next day!! I think what I loved was the way Sir was speaking to me – he’s picked up a few pointers from blogs and it was incredibly hot!

Hubby doesn’t currently have any rules for me. I can’t wait until he does because I thrive on structure!! 🙂

I realize this is an old post, but I thought I’d reply because reading other people’s rules is always fascinating to me. 🙂

I have kind of a lot.

1. Inform Sir of all bills I pay and how much I spend shopping.
2. Inform Sir of the number of times I masturbate each day.
3. Inform Sir of the number of energy drinks I have per day.
4. Inform Sir of the number of cigarettes smoked per day (trying to cut down/quit).
5. Always follow the stated protocol level (public/private/etc.)
6. Complete all punishments assigned. (Like if I’m supposed to write an apology letter or something.)
7. Submit to Sir intimately – anytime and in any way he sees fit. (Includes sleeping nude.)
8. Keep Sir’s lunches and drink of choice stocked at all times.
9. Cook breakfast for Sir, time permitting.
10. Always use proper title during scenes, sex, and our bi-weekly check-in sessions.
11. Maintain control of your temper toward Sir.
12. Maintain control of your temper towards others. (carries a sligthly lesser punishment than 11)
13. Attend to Sir’s needs so that he waits for nothing.
14. Must wait for Sir to begin eating before I eat.
15. [This one is related to my home business and not really applicable to anyone else, so skipping it.]
16. Clear all punishments for the children with Sir before implementation.
17. Every night I am to pick two outfits for Sir to choose what I will wear the next day.

Each has a minimum consequence attached, and that’s the minimum… he can always bump it up. Anything from a lecture to writing a letter to closet time to spankings.

I know this post is old but as i am new to sub life and i don’t have many rules i wanted to share 🙂
1. I must text Sir during the day when I masturbate and in detail
2. Dinner is to be ready no sooner than 30 min after he arrives home from work
3. Our downtime is to be after he eats and showers after work
4. I am only to sleep in approved clothing
5. I am to be done up makeup and clothing wise when he gets home from work during the week
6. I am not to do housework on Sundays as this is Sirs day to outline as Sir sees fit
7. My weekend hunny do list is to be emailed to him by Thurs of each week for his approval
