Hello. I’ve been gone for quite a while. We had a hellish 2018 and it spilled over into 2019. A lot of outside vanilla influences caused a lot of stress for us and we completely dropped D/s. We had only been doing it for a few months and we were still in that honeymoon phase. Anyway, trust was broken, communication broke down. It was all a huge mess. But we have started some counseling and have begun talking about trying to rebuild what we lost. I think one thing we did wrong was we went too fast. 0-60 in a matter of weeks. This time, we want to go slowly and do it right. We are working on the foundations, mainly trust and communication but I could use some practical advice on how to rebuild our dynamic. Thank you!

We are in a similar situation. Broken trust, communication has been almost non existent. I asked Sir to get back on husdom as he had barely used it and hadn’t been on in months. Work stress got to him and he took it out on me and our dynamic. Not much for advice to give but it sounds like you’re moving in the right direction. We are starting back at basics as well. It can definitely be hard.

Taking things slow is my best advice. We recently reset everything as well but it was due to some medical stuffs…anywhos it has been the best and most frustrating thing ever. Sir is setting a very slow pace that at times I hate but over the last few weeks I am seeing his wisdom… So slow and steady is my advice.
