I have the hardest time getting physically aroused when I am under a lot of stress. I’m not allowed to say no, but I know that it bothers my Sir when I can’t seem to get in the mood. I don’t wanna lie and fake it. Any suggestions?

Servants Heart I find when I’m stressed I need to take a time out for myself..I do this by going in a room alone getting on my Knees, close my eyes and focus on my submission only and my Sir everything else does not matter. I find that when I’m in my zone and meditating my body relaxes and my breathing slows. I do this for about 20 minutes when needed. Maybe you should give it a try and I hope it helps.

Servants Heart – I know how you feel. I like Roadrunner’s technique. I, myself, need to find an hour to work out to drain some of the stress off when I can feel the stress building. I will share that I have taken up a barre type fitness that can be so painful in bursts that it scours the stress away as I breath deep to get through it. I have found that I must keep appointments for workouts (with a career, young children, to name a few things it is a challenge) to help me be present and responsive later. I can’t give myself over, if I don’t feed myself. The physical benefits are the bonus plan. Sincerely, Vesper

Thanks Vesper and Roadrunner, I like the idea of both of these techniques for releasing tension, especially the meditation on your knees. Gonna try that! A handy reminder to take care of myself, don’t think I have been doing a lot of that lately. I like going for a fast walk up and down big hills to really push away any stress I am feeling.

Thank you Vesper and Roadrunner. I do think I’ll try the meditation on my knees, that sounds like a great way to “get in the zone” 🙂 I have noticed that when I don’t run (exercise) at least once a week my stress flies off the handle, but I as well find it difficult to find time. Maybe meditation will be a good alternative because I can do it before bed.

    Thanks so much!
