    Mystery Box

Curiosity killed the cat or so it’s said. But dang it not this kitty. So earlier this week Sir got a package in the mail. He made sure to give me instructions to get the mail especially the mystery box, put it on his desk and not open it.
That was no problem. I didn’t think anything of it and did ask Sir told. Later Sir came home and hid the mystery box without my knowing.

Out of sight is not out of mind. The next morning all I think is what was in the box. BOX! BOX! BOX! Was all I could think. Then came the desire to go snope the mystery box. It was like an octopus fight a giant squid in an ocean of jello. With determination I beat down that curiosity.

I asked Sir what it was. He didn’t tell. He only let me ask few questions. what was in the box? A gift for you my sweet. Could I get a hint of what it was? Nope. When will I get said gift? It’s important how I present to you and don’t ask anymore questions about it.

I bit into the burning of wanting to know. Biting back my questioning was not easy. Last night though Sir had me sit on the bed and then removed my old collar. Instead tears started to come. I thought I had done something really really bad. That I had angered him some how. Sir brushed my tears away and told me not to worry. It was then my dear kind Sir placed a beautiful new collar on me. His collar that one he picked out just for me following his lead.

Later in the middle of the night I awoke and wrote this poem for Sir.

For you are the one I seek
    A dark veil of wisps
    Behold and beacon
There is no light inside this deep hold

Hither to calls not of mine
    Alone of nonsense paths
    Just as Endemic leads destruction

Lead to the notes of untwisted
    Twice dual sight
    Strong visionary of obscurity

    From thy path
    Luminous
    Way ward from wretched spirals

    In trusted care
    phosphorescent quickness
    Is all desire

    No more to want
    No more to give
    Mine is yours
    For your all I seek
In total love and in total trust
    You’re all I seek
