Hey Yall!!!
I’m LBC, I am married to BearCat on HusDom for 5 1/2 years. We started our journey in June 2017 and I did my FA in August of 2017. Since then we have been slow moving at times because of all the changes we are going through right now. We sold our house in September and bought a 1930’s farm house in December. We currently live with my parents while we remodel our home. I just started a new job at the end of January and Sir just got laid off last week. The plus side is he has plenty of time to remodel the house. We are completely gutting the house, in other words we will not be in for about another 6 months. We are still learning but are enjoying everyday of it. This allows us to focus on the foundation. Last week we went to the FSOG outing and it was wonderful. You all have helped us in so may ways. But most of all we have learned that our relationships all differ and that is what makes them special! We are learning to embrace our unique relationship when around our vanilla friends. Plus it makes it fun to have out little inside joke about things.

Thanks for sharing your lovely story! You are right — “our relationships all differ and that is what makes them special.” And kudos to you for recognizing that the slow start has allowed you to work on your foundation — that’s key!
