Doms make mistakes, too
So, my sir made a mistake. The real life submission comes in with me graciously accepting that it was a mistake, talking it all through with him in honesty,and allowing myself to let it go and move in. This is a huge step in my submission because I have learned to respect and love him, even when he makes mistake. Because I was able to still submit to him, still honor him and still present myself to him with love and devotion to our dynamic, this mistake was put to rest within hours. It didn’t turn into a long, drawn out war of evil words, of judgement and ugly, haughty looks or disrespectful, nasty silent treatment. I asked for DT. I told him how the mistake had effected me. He listened, acknowledged how I felt and apologized for his mistake. We discussed some changes to be sure it doesn’t happen again, and we moved on. THIS is how real life submission has changed my life. Peace, calm, acceptance and honesty. I love D/s M and this community so much!

Great job at submitting respecting and calling for downtime to be able to honestly and openly discuss what happened. Way to go!
