Hey, everyone. I was inspired by LKs post about making a Dom drawer for our Sirs. I kind of ran with it, and ended up making locking His/Hers D/s drawers. LK asked me to post what I did, so here goes: First, we didn’t have bedside tables in our room at all. We have 4 kids, and all extra money for renovations and furniture have always gone to them. We essentially had glorified TV tables to hold our alarm clocks, phone chargers, etc. So, first step, I had to locate some cheap, locking bedside tables to HOLD the Dom drawer. I found cute little tables for $50 at Target, and they were delivered before Christmas for free….bonus! They were smaller and lighter than I envisioned, but I made it work. I have included a few pictures of what the finished drawers looked like, but essentially, each tiny table came with a drawer and a basket. The drawer locks. I bought some adjustable drawer organizers and after setting them them with the toys the way I wanted them, I locked them and put the keys on matching “his and hers” handcuff key chains…one set was pink, and the other silver. I tied the keys together with red ribbon and held them out to him on Christmas Eve from a position he calls “Surrender”, which is on my knees with my head bowed and my wrists crossed out in front of me over my head. On the HIS side of the room…his locking drawer holds clothes pins, on which I wrote D/s words in black Sharpie. ( submit, Yes Sir, HIS, beg, Please? Master’s, etc, etc.), my wrist cuffs and clips, my scene collar, a 36 ft rope, a pair of handcuffs, his wartenberg wheel, nipple clamps, a small paddle, one of his single tail whips,a bunny fur, a split leather strap, and some mint tic tacs. In the basket below, which does not lock, I placed a package of baby wipes, a stack of new red and black colored washcloths, bottled water, some keto-friendly snacks for after care. I also bought him a little black book and special pen to keep in his drawer for Dom journaling, and wrote a few sentiments on the inside about my desire to submit to him. In the “Hers” locking drawer and basket underneath I arranged my vibrators, massage oils, lube, cinnamon and peppermint oils, some oral mint spray for giving a tingly blowjob, a shower curtain for wax and umm….”wet” play, and a set of red silk shibari ribbons….and some lip balm and breath mints to keep my lips moist and sweet for Sir during play. Sir was AMAZED and so grateful for the gift. He said it was thoughtful, and appreciated that part of my submission to him is to maintain these drawers in an effort to make scening and playing easier for him. We also have discussed our next step in building our play space into what we want it to be…a locking armoire with plenty of hanging space for his flogger, paddle, and cane collection. I’m so excited to get everything set up the way he wants it to be to encourage more play time…and less stress for Sir when he wants to play. Everything at his fingertips…delicious! 🙂

Thank you for sharing this with us Angelica. You did a wonderful job organizing everything. Organizing our “play” things has been on my list of things to do Sir has for me. It’s been gradually pushed to the bottom of the list as more priority items get added. You have inspired me though. We also have small bedside tables with tiny drawers that barely fit anything so our toys are stuffed under our bed in boxes. This has been frustrating for him when he can’t find what he is looking for. I’m going to start looking for new bedside tables and a better way to organize everything.
