• Breast augmentation & tummy tuck

Looking for those who have experience in this as I’m looking at having surgery at the end of January beginning of February. I have only got one consultation because my surgeon of choice cost was acceptable. (I am a nurse and know him from marking in pre op) $12,000 including facility charge and anesthesia. I’ll be getting breast lift, augmentation with textured silicone implants, on top of muscle as he said I have good breast tissue so for me that’s what he’d recommend if I was his family member. (round not tear drop, 250-300cc) and a tummy tuck. They told me I would need 3-4 weeks off work and 2 more light duty.

Would love to hear others experience.

    Would love

I recently had a breast reduction to help with neck, shoulder and back pain. It has worked a charm. I didn’t get implants or a tummy tuck.

Pain was not as bad as I thought, I only needed pain killers for three days. I took them on the third day because I travelled home 6 hours. I took it really easy for a couple weeks, then returned to work. Probably could have done with an extra week off. I was really tiered and had trouble concentrating. The anesthetic has been by far the hardest to get over. My poor brain was scrambled, very forgetful lol. Happy to chat more if you wish.

    Good luck x

I have gotten a second consult/quote, a female Dr I liked her very much and although more expensive the quote was fully itemized so you know exactly what your paying for and getting, no question, plus includes 5 lymphatic massages after as well. I got for third and final consult next week before I make my final decision

    Hello,
I had a breast augmentation a year ago. Everything went well although I’d like to have it redone since I need a lift. Didn’t get the lift the first time around because I was scared I would develope a keloids and Hyperpigmentation. I had to have implants placed under the muscle because I don’t have much breast tissue. I did ripple on the sides but we expected that. I have round 350cc silicone implants. I went from a 32 A to a 32 D (Victoria Secret). I’m probably a 32 C in other stores. Recovery went well. I was in a lot of pain day 2-4. Sleeping was uncomfortable for me since I was a belly sleeper the time. My breast feel hard to me and I don’t like how they move when my muscle flexes, also have sagging skin from opting out of the lift. I am very happy that you won’t that problem with the implant being placed over the muscle and having the lift done. One breast also falls to the side and is higher than the other because my rib is higher on that side. With all of that I would still do it again. I looked like one of those tribal women with sagging tits that hang like inverted triangles. No disrespect, just trying to give you a visual:) I felt like a new woman afterwards and I’m planning on having a revision done one of these days. I just hope the surgeon can deal with my lopsided body, thin skin, and lack of breast tissue. Good Luck!

I know this is a bit old, but I wanted to see if you had surgery and how it went.

I am currently loosing weight and at some point, would like to get my boobs lifted and a tummy tuck (I still have a ways to go).
