• Books with a DD/lg theme

Hello lovies I thought I would recommend two books I have read that are DD/lg themed. They are fiction of course but I think they give a nice play on that type of relationship.

Learning to be Little again by Meredith O’Reilly.
A story about a girl named Juliana who after an abusive age play relationship wants to give up that side of herself. She struggles to overcome her past when she meets Robert. Robert is a doctor who instantly feels the connection to Juliana and hopes he can save the “Little” that he sees inside her. Can Robert show her what it means to be a “Daddy” to a “little”? Can he help her get past her fears?
I enjoyed this story because although Juliana had a bad experience ( briefly mentioned- so I don’t think it would be a trigger for anyone who has had trauma themselves in the past) Robert takes the time to show her what a real loving Dom/Daddy should be like.

Little Haven by by Meredith O’Reilly, Adaline Raine, Alex Reynolds, Summer Graystone , Normandie Alleman
This is several short stories in one book. It takes place in a community called Little Haven. I small community where everyone there participates in the DD/lg lifestyle.( IF only it were a real place right ) Some more openly then others. This book has it all. Littles and Middles. Some having that inner struggle of why they need this and what will others think. Some more comfortable and established. The one thing I loved about this book is that all but two couples were married. The other two were in committed relationships just not married. It was just nice to see married couples in the lifestyle for a change.

Both books are easy reads but a nice view point for a lifestyle I am very fond of. Even if you aren’t full on Little I think you may like these books if you have ever been curious about this type of dynamic. Little Haven has several types of DD/lg relationships in it so it briefly touches on several aspects. Some of the Littles are really “young” mind set some are more the “teenager” mind set. If you have an e-reader, kindle, nook or whatever, amazon often offers these books for 3.99 or less. So just keep an eye out if you want to read them but don’t want to pay full price.

    Thanks Lovies- enjoy

Thanks for the recommendations. I will definitely have to check these out. “Sir Santa” gave me a B&N gift card in my stocking so I can download books to my Nook app

Thanks for the recommendations Ll. I have read a lot of D/s stories but very little “little” focused literature. They both look great! Perhaps you should recommend them to our librarian June for a future book club — some of our non little or little-curious subbie friends might enjoy a reading about our sub (pun intended) culture of D/s. Thanks for sharing with us.
