• Beauty tip for smooth legs

I have recently discovered a relatively easy way to manage ingrown hairs on my legs. I have battled this problem since I began shaving and have never discovered any method for dealing with them short of getting the tweezers out.
I have a pumice stone that I keep in the shower to deal with my feet and one day looked at it and wondered if it would help in the constant battle with ingrown hairs that are, in part, due to a build up of dead skin. Well, it has helped quite a bit.
Here is what I do. I put bath gel on my legs and then gently use the pumice stone on my legs using a circular motion. I do this at least once a week before I shave. It has reduced the ingrown hairs by at least 75% and the skin on my legs is smoother than ever.

Good tip! I exfoliate my legs as well from time to time before shaving them and I’ve noticed the same difference you have! I use a scrub brush though.

Blue, have you considered laser hair removal so that the ingrown hairs never have a chance to grow in? The prices seem to be coming down as the technology gets better. I found a place about an hour away from me that is a quarter of the price of what is offered in my area, so it is worth shopping around.

    Just a thought. Hugs!!!
