All my senses?
Ok, so I feel kinda silly with this recent “issue”. Since my Husband/Dom started this journey some time ago, I have had all of my senses taken away except sound. I’ve been blindfolded, gagged and tied up with multiple different things…sometimes together sometimes not. I’ve had things in places that I didn’t know would feel that good, I’ve had Os in manners I had no idea I could, but Mr. A taking my sense of sound away is holding me up?? I’m sure it’s having it all taken at once but it’s frustrating! I have a past and some hang ups but Sir knows all of them and don’t we all? Thought I had gotten over them. Sir and I have been in a lull lately and now I’m pretty sure it’s me causing it this time. I was hoping to give him my sound on Valentine’s Day…he’s taking me to see FSOG and has booked us a hotel room near the theater. I guess my question is any suggestions on now to make this easier? I really want to be able to this seemly simple thing for my Sir next weekend. This my first post ….be gentle lol

I am unsure about what exactly you mean my taking away your sense of hearing. You said that you are going to FSOG movie on Valentine’s Day, did you mean your hearing being taken away for the movie? How is your hearing being taken away? Earplugs , sound cancelling headphones? When I think of taking away the sound of hearing , I think of when I am snorkeling in the water and all I hear is the sound of the ocean as water fills my ears. It is quite serene and almost relaxing.

Would it be easier if instead of totally taking away your hearing, your Dom replace it with music you might like? I think the idea of taking away the hearing sense is so that you don’t focus on the sounds in the room. Helps to focus on sensations. Perhaps you could suggest this music alternative during downtime. In the book, if I am not mistaken, that is how he takes away her sense of hearing. He Puts earphones on her with music so that is all she is able to hear. Maybe if you suggest this prior to seeing the movie, then you see the movie together, he will better understand your request. Good Luck!

Morning Glory, no not during the movie. At the hotel room that he booked after the movie during a scene/play time. Not being able to hear my FSOG movie might be a hard limit for me lol
Thanks Bliss. I think in the book he did use music but played it in the room. We could use earbuds at a hotel. I definitely get what Sir is trying to do by taking away my hearing and in concept it sounds sexy and wonderful and I want it. I already can’t see what he’s doing when I’m blindfolded, but I still know where he is in the room for the most part or know when he’s getting something, etc. I do like the music idea and using FSOG. Maybe if we go all in on the theme and see if we can download the movie soundtrack, the cheekiness of it will relax me more. Thanks so much. 🙂

In fsog, chapter 25, is a perfect scene to read to your Sir! He puts earbuds in her ears during the scene. Its hot!! My Sir has done this scene with me, and i loved it!!! Best part for Him is you cant hear anything, so he can read from the book or a piece of paper on what he wants to do to you, and you would never know! Good luck…..

Thanks KLB! It has been soooo long since I read FSOG, I really need to get it back out. That’s a great idea to read it to my Sir. Most of my newer books are on my Nook but the FSOG series I know is in the office in paper form somewhere. I’ll have to go find it and read to him when we talk tomorrow. The more I talk about it the more I exited I get, less anxiety I think 🙂 Thanks again for the advise!

So I just wanted to share that it went really really well on Saturday (into Sunday lol) I want to tell everyone really, but I work in a VERY vanilla world full of lawyers and such 🙂 Turns out I love not being able to hear where my Sir is at all times or what he’s about to do…he tied only my hands, blind folded me and earbuds with FSOG soundtrack…no gag so I could safe word if need be…i soooooo did not…he said I was much louder than usual (glad we were at a hotel and not home with 2 teenage boys) which apparently turned him on because I am quiet by nature and well by the 4th song he was ripping out the earbuds and flipping me over…
he also bought me a new paddle, which I adore…we talked more on Sunday…I am just in 7th Heaven right now, I have no idea how I’m going get through this Monday…I even told him about this site and I think he’s going to check out the HusDom one later this week

Wow! That sounds fantastic! I am so glad it went well for you and that it turned out to be an enjoyment, rather than just a toleration. Sounds like your Sir did an amazing job helping you to grow in the experience! ps; learning to be vocal in a hotel is fun too–now the hard part is going back to having to be quiet at home. 😉
