Ah Ha from the gym
Since Sir and I are both well over 40 and are doing our best to get into shape we have joined a group on FB called fit over 40 (or something like that). A day or two ago I read a post there that caused a real ah ha moment for me.
This older gentleman was at the gym and was looking around at all the other much younger men and realized that he was not in competition with them he was only in competition with who he was yesterday.
Now think about that…so many of us have body issues, self esteem issues…the list is endless, at least I know mine was. But we have those issues because we are competing with the super models of the world. My ah ha moment was that we are NOT in competition with them we are only in a competition with who we were yesterday.
D|s-M has helped me realize that my Sir is NOT sitting around looking at other women, he really does only have eyes for me. If I am really working on making myself into the best me I can then I AM winning.

This is definitely an aha moment! It’s so TRUE! I have a pinterest post that says something similar on my inspiration workout board at home.

I love this. I also agree. My Captain only has eyes for me and that has helped a lot with my insecurities.
