First Downtime
This morning I wake up feeling so calm and content. The reason? Last night Sir and I had our first downtime.
We had been talking about it all week and we set the time to do it as soon as our daughter was in bed. He told me earlier in the day that for downtime he’d like me to wear my soft comfy robe.
I was really nervous about this happening. I honestly don’t know why I was so nervous. I think it was all the anticipation leading up to it and the fact that we had never had this kind of talk where we were both totally in our roles.
The time comes for downtime. I undress and out on my robe and bring out my leather collar as Sir has instructed me to do. I kneel in front of him and he puts on my collar and I get into my presentation position. Side sitting on the floor, positioned lower than him. I was completely in submissive mode. My head was swimming!
He asked me to open up the discussion with what I had been writing in my journal. I don’t keep a standard journal, but I like having a notebook that I can jot down my thoughts and ideas.
It was so nice to be able to talk freely about all of the things I had creeping around my mind. Of course, I made sure to keep my tone and posture respectful and submissive.
He then told me about all of the things he’s been thinking as well. We also had an opportunity to bring up things that we were both struggling with.
After everything was said and done, Sir patted his leg to signify he wanted me to come to him. He gave me a huge hug and grabbed my collar. Letting me know I was his and gently kissed me on the forehead.
What a wonderful experience. It was like we had never communicated that deeply and honestly before! I look forward to each downtime now! Many thanks to my Sir for being so open and honest with me. And many thanks to him for accepting to be my dominant. These are the beginnings to a beautiful relationship!
