My real name is Jennifer, but I chose Angelica on here because that was my first ever submissive name. BigOne is my HusDom, and his real name is Darren. He chose his online BDSM name years ago, (because we are both XL sized bundles of fun :)), and it just seemed the natural choice when we set up our names here. Darren and I met in the NY BDSM scene over 20 years ago. We were “set up” by a mutual Dom friend of ours and met for the first time at a party in a popular BDSM club in NY that no longer exists. We were friends first, then D/s play partners, then boyfriend/girlfriend with a D/s twist, then husband and wife. We have been married for 18 years, and lived most of that time trying to suppress the D/s within because we didn’t understand how to fit it into real life marriage, kids, etc. As a result of trying to do things the vanilla way, I became a disrespectful shrew and he became an angry shell of a man. We were barely speaking, had no intimacy, and were likely headed to divorce. I came across subMrs one day, (searching for suggestions on “sexting” my husband to try to fan the little flame that was left), and I immediately felt the beauty and honesty of what Mr Fox and LK had going here. I read nonstop for days, often times sobbing with the regret of having so many years wasted as we tried to deny who we truly were. This community is a soothing balm on a wound that we didn’t even know we had. I sucked it up like a sponge, and when I brought it to my husband, he embraced it almost immediately. We have embarked on a marritalreset, using the D/s M principles that we have found here. The support and guidance from the subs and Doms in both communities has been invaluable, and we are blessed beyond measure to call this our new home. It has saved our marriage, and our relationship has never been better. We have 4 kids, ages 7, 10, 4, and 15. we live in the Houston area, and it is a pleasure to meet you and share this journey with you all. 🙂 Jen
