Surprised and delighted…
I have to admit, the ideas of Formal Acceptance and/or a Collaring Ceremony were things that I thought Sir and I would gloss over. Mostly because it is hard for me to ask for specific things from my Dominant husband without feeling like I am trying to run the show. HOWEVER… He has been taking this journey so much more seriously that I ever could have dreamed. He has been reading up on the HusDom site, as well as researching in other sources. Friday was our 5 year wedding anniversary, and after I was finished getting dressed for our dinner date, he asked me to return to our bedroom, take off my high heels, and kneel. He tied my wrists behind my back, and read me the vows he had taken the time to write. He talked about when we first met, when I agreed to marry him, and asked if I would now submit to him and wear his collar. He put a discreet silver choker with a central ring around my neck, and told me expected me to wear it most of the time (unless instructed otherwise). He said that by accepting it, I would willingly accept his authority and submit to his commands, and in return he would protect and respect me as his most prized possession. It was such an incredibly profound and emotional experience. I am truly grateful that the SubMrs and HusDom sites have been able to provide us with guidance while we add this new dynamic to our marriage, and for giving me a place to share this story. I was so touched by the time and planning that Sir put into the evening that I wanted to tell EVERYONE, but naturally that is something you put on Facebook. 😉 Thank you for being here and letting me share.
