    No note

Every weekday morning for the last four weeks Sir has left a post it note on the bathroom mirror. It is usually my exercise instructions for the morning. Just a few simple exercises meant to keep at least a least a little tone so I am not discouraged when we are able to resume our workouts. Some days it’s as simple as “Do the same as yesterday. Sir”. There are days he gives me the morning off and there are days I am instructed to reward myself for being patient with his exhaustion the night before. I have said if he wants I can just do the exercises with no note but he said he likes leaving them. This morning I went in to the bathroom and there was no note. No note. Maybe it fell off the mirror. No not behind the sink or on the floor or in the trash can. I searched the bathroom high and low. No note. Did he forget? Is this a test? Either way I went ahead and did the exercises. There wasn’t a lot of thought needed. No anger no hurt feelings no jumping to the conclusion he must have given up on D/s and it was all over. Yeah that would have been a normal overreaction before. I just did the exercises.

After my shower I checked my phone and I had a text from him. He apologized for forgetting the note. I responded with “It’s ok Daddy I did the exercises anyway.” I got a good girl but more than that I pleased him. I would bet that my handling of the situation pleased him more than just completing the simple task.

This is a helpful post Princess. It’s always good to be reminded that we get better each day at managing situations in a submissive way.

Princess, I love how you handled this… thank you for sharing! It is hard to sometimes not “over think” the situation.

    Thanks Prim 🙂
If only I had known years ago how good he can be at quieting my mind. It is becoming an automatic response to keep myself from overreacting but he also holds the power to shut off the fear and negative thinking. As long as I tell him what’s wrong. I wondered why it wasn’t working yesterday when I called him for help. Later I realized it was because I had told him I was struggling but not why. As soon as I did he helped settle me.
