• Too much of a good thing?

So I have a job that affords me to have three months off a year. It is now that time and we are trying a 24/7 arrangement for the first time. The best way we can with two kids at home. We are only 4 days into it and I think we have played for 3 nights in a row. My period started today so I am hoping for a break soon. I was wondering if anyone else is still having vanilla sex every once in a while. I have a very hard time getting excited at all during vanilla sex and orgasms are elusive almost impossible. It seems the more we play and the more intense it becomes then the more I need, like a drug! I am not sure I like that. Maybe we need to take a break or wait longer between play scenes. Anyone else experiencing this?

    Dear Dolce,

I know and understand what you mean – I am ‘addicted’ too. To be honest, I don’t really think that it’s a problem feeling like that…after all – if you are enjoying kinky sex more than vanilla sex, is that bad?

To my mind not at all. I enjoy peas far more than Brussels sprouts. Your worry might be caused by remnant concerns that your kink might be considered ‘deviant’ or weird by others.

My suggestion would be to embrace the type of sex you love… Why put up with sprouts when you can eat peas as it were.

Remember – there is nothing wrong with BDSM based sex provided it’s consensual. Just sit back and do what you enjoy.

    My thoughts

    HerSubject,
I like your thoughts. Thank you!!!!!! We have been married 19 years and sex hasn’t been this exciting since our honeymoon. We have sex around 5-6 nights a week and on weekends it can be 3 times a day!! I love it all. I like your analogy to the vegetables. You are right! We have discovered something that we both love so much more than what we were doing before and I think it is what we have both been wanting for years. It makes sense that since BDSM based sex is our preference that we would engage in it more often and be interested in vanilla sex less. I guess this is only a problem if I make it out to be one!
