• Ideal Submissive – My Homework

Posted by Unknown Member on at

Sir went through a mental practice for himself of coming up with words to describe his ideal dominant. He his list of words on his phone where they are easily accessible as a reminder in moments where he is feeling anything other than firm in his dominance; a way to prevent vanilla from creeping in. He posted his on husDOM and it seemed to be of interest to many there. He asked me to compile a similar list for myself. After completing this exercise I realized this may be a useful tool for others. The exercise really helped me think about what traits I hope to encompass daily and overall. I expressed to Sir I think this list will be fluid and change as we move further into our dynamic, become more experienced, and grow. My ideal submissive would be:
    Controlled
    Calm
    Reflective
    Honest
    Thoughtful
    Obedient
    Supportive
    Sexual

    What is yours?

Thanks JC, great topic. I just finished the kneeling challenge and my husband wants me to make it a regular habit. You inspired me to come up with my own list and these will give me something to contemplate while I kneel. And thank you to Curvysub and Rachelle for sharing your lists.

The Foundations of a Domination and submission dynamic are: Respect, Honesty, Communication, Trust and LOVE … Love still has to live in your relationship.
STRIVE to be a respectful submissive.
STRIVE to be a honest submissive.
STRIVE to be a trustworthy submissive.
STRIVE to be a lovable submissive.
STRIVE to be forthcuming, candid and frank.
Most of all as a submissive…. Be Vulnerable!
Best Wishes in YOUR submission ..LK

I love this! My Sir has given me homework to think about what I want in my submission and what I would like to see in his dominance, didn’t know how to put into words, but this is brilliant!
    Thank you!!

Vulnerable. That’s my word of the day that will remain on the list for as long as I need a reminder. I think because emotional vulnerability is something I struggle with most, maybe (who knows what I may disciver), I will change my background on my phone to an image that reflects this, gather imagery and quotes to post in key places. I can even find ways to remind myself throughout the day of the bravery it takes to allow myself to be vulnerable to him, and the beauty that it is, regardless of the results. And for me, that is key. I have to brave to be vulnerable, even when I’m afraid, even when things don’t turn out the way I hoped. Because, my vulnerability makes an positive impact on my Sir. Maybe not immediately, maybe not without suffering, but eventually. Temperance and vulnerability. Okay, now I have two. This is a helpful excersize.
