National Respect Day | Respect Others
September 18 All day
September 18th is National Respect Day. This day was created to encourage people to focus more on ways in which they can respect others. Today is everyones reminder to step back and tell the people important to you that you respect and admire them.
Respect is a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements. Today is the day you show respect to your partner and to everyone around you! Focus on the ones you love by giving them your focus. By listening and hearing them, really engage in a great conversation about today or a story from long ago, shows respect. A great martial exercise is holding hands and telling your partner what you admire about them and the appreciation you have for all the things they do.
Respect is one of the most important keys to a great marriage. In Married Dominance and Submission we say the marital relationship comes first. We focus and promote a list of foundational relationship skills.
