Memorial Day | Twisted Holiday | The Color of Poppies
May 31, 2021 All day
Historically, Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for honoring and mourning the military personnel who have died in the performance of their military duties while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Wearing a poppy, the symbolic red flower for Memorial Day, commemorates the sacrifice of so many men and women who have given their lives fighting for their country. The poppy’s significance to Memorial Day derives from John McCrae’s poem, “In Flanders Fields.”
Most families and friends get together on this day for parades, picnics and barbecues.
How can you spice up your Memorial Day with your Sir? Schedule a warm night scene with your Sir, wear some poppy red lipstick, red nails and red lingerie, panties or even that satin blindfold along with red candles or anything red to signify the poppy on this day.
P.S. It happens to be Mr. Fox’s B-day as well…. Happy Bday Sir!
